Certain to become a choral standard for school and church choirs alike! Keith Christopher has created a splendid Christmas masterwork that brilliantly combines two popular Handel choruses. It opens with an ingenious pairing of Handel's famous chorus from Judas Maccabaeus with the text from his carol, Joy to the World! It concludes with Handel's Hallelujah! chorus, transposed down a step to C Major. They may be performed separately or together by virtue of the alternate endings at the close of the first section. Trumpet obbligato (opt., part included) adds a festive touch. For larger choirs, a brass and timpani orchestration is available separately.
