This suite is an encore to a very successful one published in 1980. This material is a welcomed expansion to any library of jazz music for strings. The movements are titled Bossa Nova, Ballad, Waltz, and 5/4-3/4. With an experienced rhythm section, string parts can be performed by very young players. Chord symbols are laid out clearly in the rhythm parts for improvisation and a flute/vibes part adds extra nuance.
