Brother James' Air
Author: Wagner, Douglas E.

The melody moves between voices and the harmonic structuring shifts with an energy all its own, skillfully exhibiting marvelous suspensions and their satisfying resolutions. Technical demands are truly minimal. While it is written for beginning band, this is one of those rare compositions that will find a deserved place in the repertoires of bands at all skill levels. Hauntingly beautiful! (2:29)

Recorded at Omega Studios, Rockville, Maryland
by the Washington Winds and the Washington Pops,
Edward Petersen, Conductor
