Roses are a common subject in music and we all enjoy them. In this lovely arrangement, the tunes about roses come from art music. Set in the familiar keys of D and G, students will focus on sensitivity to style and phrase, accidentals, articulations and dynamics. Shifting occurs in the first violin, cello and bass with a brief optional shift in the viola.
