Gershwin at his best! This chart is a primarily a bright samba but it has a slow middle section which reverts to the fiery samba groove. Solo space (written) is for alto 1 and trumpet 2, and lead trumpet range is to D above the staff. A percussion part is included as well. This is a brilliant arrangement and will certainly be a high point in any concert or festival performance.
