Author: Williams, Mark

This heroic composition will make your developing band sound bigger than life! Brass and percussion open the work admidst a flurry of woodwinds, setting the stage for the exciting main theme. Your band will be challenged to make the distinction between the dotted and triplet rhythms which are superimposed throughout the melody and accompaniment. A contrasting "B" theme is introduced by a single clarinet note which grows into a beautiful woodwind choir, than tapers down to the same single note, before the full band returns with a triumphant restatement of the main theme. Mark Williams once again demonstrates his talent for writing meaningful concert works for bands of all levels!
