La Traviata, an opera in three acts written by the Italian composer, Guiseppe Verdi (1813-1901), has become a favorite of opera lovers the world over. It contains some of the most beautiful of Verdi's melodies and begins with a short orchestra prelude. A worthy addition to any orchestra program, this arrangement for intermediate orchestra can be performed by String Orchestra alone or with the addition of any instrument up to full orchestra.
