Combining two cherished patriotic hymn tunes "God of Our Fathers" and "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," James Ployhar has created a lush and reverent concert band closer. "A Nations' Prayer" will capture the spirit of this country and appeal to the patriotic fervor that is in the heart of every responsible citizen. It was arranged as a tribute to those who have served and to those that continue to serve this nation in time of conflict. Starting in a chorale-like style stating the themes the arrangement concludes in a bright fanfare statement with a musical 'tip of the hat' to "My Country 'tis of Thee."
